[...] Episode 94: Two Gingers Talking Soccer - Proving that you can never have too much ginger and that two gingers can do a show without causing a rift in space/time, Zach is joined by Alexi Lalas to discuss all the news surrounding MLS and the Men’s National Team. We discuss Thierry Henry’s red card, the massive crowd in Seattle and Alexi shares a story about Kasey Keller.
[...] Episode 93: Jürgen Gets His Win, Now Let’s Get to Work - Two shows in a week! It’s American Soccerpalooza…or there is just a lot to talk about. Zach returns, joined by Kevin McCauley to analyize the US Men’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Ecuador. We look at the positives and negatives, stress some patience but also admit it’s alright to question some of Klinsmann’s decision…and we pick on Tim Ream. USSF referee Shawn Carroll joins Zach as well to discuss MLS Referee Week and the fact that things might not be as bad as they seem when it comes to officiating. [...]

[...] Episode 92: Jürgen Gets His Win, Now Let’s Get to Work – In the wake of the first victory of the Jürgen Klinsmann era, Zach is joined by Murph from the YSA Report to offer our reactions to the US Men’s 1-0 defeat of Honduras in Miami over the weekend. We discuss the match, heap praise on some and hope that one player in particular is shown the door. We also discuss Omar Gonzalez’s comments and offer our theory on why he and George John haven’t gotten the call from Klinsmann yet. [...]

To be honest it was a bit of an oversight, but that's what happens when you move overseas and never see the field aside from cup matches. Guzan is a good keeper and probably will figure in to things at some point but it makes more sense for Klinsmann to get the up and coming guys some camp experience. If Howard went down, I'm sure Guzan would be in the mix but him being buried at Villa has made him somewhat irrelevant, right or wrong.

Wondering why no discussion of Brad Guzan in GK talk for the USMNT ? No mention of his name at all - just skipping from Howard to Hamid - am I missing something? Its obvious he needs to be playing full time, and I'm really curious why he is not. Perhaps other see what I do not.

for playoffs: once we have 20 teams.
I think we should do they way all the other American sports do it. Have 4 divisions with 5 teams in each one (two divisions in each conference). The top two from each division make the playoffs. I like this because you division races, and create more regional rivalry like in the NFL.

I also like the idea of the "group stage" playoffs. If you do that play every team in your conference twice and the teams in the other conference once. And have 30 games in one season.

We want MLS in Indianapolis. Actually we think there should be atleast 8 more expansion teams but Indy has to be one of them. We already have a supporter group larger than most of the other possible teams though. We love soccer and our city, we just need to unite the two in the form of an MLS team! 'Mon the Brickers!
